The PhD students’ awards ceremony is a highlight for the General Scientific Direction and ONERA, which honor their best students. It is part of a rigorous selection process, organized as part of the PhD Students’ Days.
The objective is both to encourage PhD students on the path to excellence, to provide the PhD students concerned with a reference that can then be used, and to distinguish remarkable work that may be the subject of special promotion.
The awards ceremony is organized in early April, during which:
- the winners present their work to the General Management
- the President of ONERA gives each winner a trophy and a certificate
